Voila!! I have published my first blog post!! I have been dreaming to have my personal blog site from a long time. Finally its up and before you!! This site is driven by the popular personal publishing platform WordPress. A big thanks to the guys at WordPress for developing such a powerful Content Management System with lots of scope for customization. And the best thing is, WordPress is open source and free to use.
The look and feel of the site is designed and developed by me. I used XHTML, CSS and followed web standards and some accessibility guidelines while developing this theme. By the way, this is my first ever major web design work using web standards. So, I would like to hear from you about my work, and suggestions to improve this site. This website now has two themes, one is the default normal theme and the second is a high contrast theme for low vision people and people with difficulties in recognizing few colors. The high contrast layout will have dark background and light colored text. I am planning to provide few other themes when I find time to develop them.
